Accessibility statement

At LIVVO Hotel Group we work to ensure that anyone can use our website, regardless of their abilities or the technology they use.

This statement applies to the LIVVO Hotel Group website. We are committed to making it accessible in accordance with Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act) and its transposition into national law, using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA as the technical reference.

Conformance status

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Most criteria are met, although there are specific exceptions, detailed below, that we continue to work on.

Measures taken

The accessibility measures already implemented on the website include:

  • Sufficient colour contrast between text and background (WCAG 1.4.3) and for interface elements such as field borders and icons (1.4.11).
  • Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator (2.1.1, 2.4.7).
  • A skip link to the main content, plus a structure of landmarks and headings (2.4.1).
  • Focus kept within modal windows and returned to the triggering element when they close (2.1.2, 2.4.3).
  • Alternative text for informative images (1.1.1).
  • Forms with associated labels and status messages announced to assistive technologies (1.3.1, 4.1.3).
  • Content that adapts without loss of information when zoomed in and on small screens (1.4.10).

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is not yet fully accessible:

  • Booking engine: the booking process runs through an external platform from a specialised provider, whose accessibility is not directly under our control. We are in contact with the provider to improve it.
  • Interactive maps: location maps rely on a third-party service. The essential location information (address and directions) is also available as text.
  • Validation with assistive technologies: full testing with screen readers (such as NVDA or VoiceOver) is ongoing, so some adjustments may still be pending.
